I love music. I use it as my muse.

One day I picked up a paintbrush, put a pair of headphones on, hit play and started to paint.

I discovered that painting whilst listening to music gave me the freedom to express my feelings in a way that words never could.

The songs I listened to whilst painting became a conduit for my emotional expression, a manifestation of my inner dialogue.

Sometimes I have an idea for how a song should look before I begin, but usually, I let my subconscious take control and guide my hands.

This allows me to sense the colours I should use - a touch of synesthesia I guess.

The artwork becomes a reflection of how I’m feeling and a representation of how a song appears in my mind’s eye.

I love music, and I’m happy that I’ve found a way to express that love.

My mind, body and spirit connect through music and so no matter what mood I'm in, there’s a song I can turn to.
